Peninsula Multisport Athletic Club Surrey - White Rock - Delta

Gord Robertson:
My coaching background includes being the head coach of three competitive swim clubs, as well as the NWT Canada Games Team. I have over 20 years experience coaching swimmers and triathletes from novice to National qualifiers, ages 7 to 70. The last 11 years my focus has been on preparing triathletes to achieve their personal goals.
My athletic background includes playing competitive rugby until the age of 30, participating in running events and triathlons since the 80s. I am a 3 time Ironman Canada finisher and Skaha Lake Ultraswim finisher. I have completed the Round Bowen Kayak Challenge, RAMROD cycle race and the 400km Ride to Survive. I continue to compete in triathlons and enjoy nordic skiing, snowshoeing, ocean kayaking and cycle touring.

Tammy Huguet:
My passion for the sport of triathlon started 10 years ago, I was/am busy mom who wanted to be active and meet some new people, well, it went even further after completing Ironman Canada! I see this sport as a way to bring all levels of our inner athlete together to experience great accomplishments before even getting to the finish line!

Janet Walker:
A friend asked me to join her for a triathlon ten years ago and ever since it is a good part of my life. Without realizing it I have chosen triathlon training to be more than my exercise but also my stress reliever and social life! My aim is to spread both safety awareness and enthusiasm to other athletes.

Wendy Richardson:
I have always been active as an adult. My athletic background started with running 10k races, which led to marathons. I did an occasional sprint distance triathlon and found myself drawn to the half ironman distance, still my favourite distance. I have completed Ironman Canada twice and a few GranFondos.
I love encouraging people to make positive change in their lives. My passion is for the new long distance triathlete and that is where most of my coaching experience lies. I love the role I have played in my athletes' journeys and feel privileged to be a part of it.

Kelly Jangula:
My path to becoming a triathlete began when I signed up for my first half marathon several years ago. I enjoyed the experience so much that I have volunteered as a pace bunny for the Vancouver Half Marathon for the past 3 years. During my run training I found that there were huge benefits to be gained from cross training. I soon realized how much I loved swimming, raced in several triathlons and soon found myself wanting to become an NCCP coach. I am continually learning new ways to be creative at balancing my weekly workouts, family, work, and pursuing a Masters in Physiotherapy.
